Packaging, from selection to presentation

The right container.
The complete product.

We source suitable packaging, arrange physical samples, coordinate testing with your product and create product renderings for your marketing materials.

Bottles & pumps

For shampoos, washes, lotions and fluid products. We select the bottle, closure and dispensing system as a combination.

Jars & tubs

For creams, body butters, masks and scrubs, with the material, opening and decoration matched to the product.

Tubes

For face, hand and body creams, gels and selected cleansers, with the fill volume, cap and decoration chosen together.

Airless, droppers & foamers

For compatible serums, creams and liquid foaming cleansers. We check the formula against the chosen dispensing format.

01

Shortlist the options

Compare local, national and international suppliers against the product, budget, quantity and design brief.

02

Send you samples

Arrange physical packaging samples so you can assess the size, feel, closure and overall presentation.

03

Test with the product

Coordinate compatibility and functional checks, including dispensing, closure performance and leakage as relevant to the chosen format.

04

Create the presentation

Prepare packaging artwork and product renderings for agreed sales and marketing materials, based on the selected pack.

How packaging affects the first order

Our starting production quantity is 500 units per SKU — one distinct product variant. Packaging suppliers can have different minimums for the container, closure, colour and printing. A custom colour, direct print or made-to-order component can require more packaging than the first production batch.

We compare available stock packaging and customization options, show any additional packaging commitment separately, and agree the choice with you before ordering. Samples, testing, artwork and renderings are included in the agreed project scope and budget.

The actual unit price depends on the formula, product volume, packaging, batch size and project complexity. The starting price is not a quote for every product or for every 500-unit batch. Before we talk

A few good
questions.

Who is the studio for?

People and businesses with an existing way to reach customers: an online store, retail business, salon, professional practice or engaged community. You do not need to own a beauty brand already.

What is a Product Launch Blueprint?

It is an overall project plan prepared before development begins. The Essential Blueprint starts at $249 and sets out the product direction, formula and packaging approach, key decisions and next steps. The $499 Research Blueprint adds focused market and competitor research, a refined brief, a preliminary budget outline and a more detailed roadmap.

Does the planning fee include a formula or samples?

No. The $249 and $499 options cover project planning. Formulation, product and packaging samples, testing, final brand design, detailed manufacturer sourcing and production are scoped and quoted separately.

Do I have to use your production facility?

No. We present suitable manufacturers and compare prices, quantities and terms. You choose. If an affiliated facility is included, we disclose that relationship clearly.

Can we develop a product inspired by one I like?

Yes. A reference helps us define texture, skin or hair feel, performance goals and price positioning. We develop samples against an agreed brief; an exact replica is not promised.

What does the $10,000–$25,000 range cover?

It is a preliminary planning range for a scoped first project, not a fixed package. We separate studio fees from packaging, ingredients, production, testing and other outside costs. Product count, order size and launch services determine the final budget.

Can you coordinate the store, marketing and fulfillment?

Yes. Brand design, marketing materials, an online store, promotion, US warehousing and fulfillment can be included in your scope. Ongoing service fees, advertising spend and per-order costs are identified separately.

Can you work with a small first batch?

Yes. Our starting quantity is 500 units per SKU, meaning one distinct product variant. It is not 500 units split across multiple products. Packaging and manufacturing requirements can affect the final minimum; we confirm these for your brief.

How long does a launch take?

A usual planning window is 3–6 months. Some projects can take 2–3 months; complex development can require 12–18 months. The schedule depends on formulation, approvals, testing, packaging, production and delivery.

Who owns the formula and receives the technology?

You receive rights to the formula custom-developed for your project, together with the manufacturing process and all ingredient supplier details. We set out the handover in the project agreement. Brand asset rights are also addressed in the relevant agreements.

Where do you source packaging?

We source from local, national and international suppliers, select suitable formats, send physical samples, coordinate product compatibility and functional testing, and prepare product renderings for marketing materials. Packaging components, custom colours and decoration can have their own minimum orders, which we identify before you commit.

What determines the price per unit?

Production pricing can start from $3 per finished unit for suitable product and batch configurations. Formula complexity, fill volume, packaging, quantities and project requirements determine your actual quote. A 500-unit minimum per SKU does not mean every product can be supplied at the starting price. We specify what each quote includes and separate the studio, development, testing and logistics costs.

Which product categories do you develop?

We develop face, hair, scalp, body, hand and foot care: serums, creams, gels, cleansers, shampoos, conditioners, masks, lotions, scrubs and selected care oils. Makeup, perfumes and pressurized aerosol products are outside our scope. See the product development directions above for detailed examples.
